A Tiny Puppy Left Where No Baby Animal Should Be
Hugo was only five weeks old when his life began with fear.
At an age when he should have been curled beside his siblings, warm, safe, and protected, he was found abandoned in a public restroom. He was far too young to understand what had happened, but old enough to feel the cold confusion of being left behind.

Carrie already had therapy dogs, Max and Denali, who visited airports and educational settings to bring comfort to people.

He also formed a sweet bond with Denali, and their moments together became part of Hugo’s healing story.
