Caki approached slowly, knowing the dog was terrified.
This was not a dog who simply needed food or shelter. He needed urgent medical care. His body had been badly injured, and he had likely been suffering for at least two weeks before anyone came for him.
Caki gently secured him and rushed him to a veterinarian.

He gave him a name: Goldy.
