A sad little puppy was found wandering alone through the streets of Dallas, and at first, everyone believed he was simply lost.
He was only about one year old, small enough to weigh just 9 pounds, and far too young to understand what was happening. Animal control officers picked him up, assuming his family must be worried sick and waiting for the call that he had been found.
But that was not the truth.

When his owners were contacted, they did not rush to bring him home. They did not say they had been searching for him. Instead, they told the shelter they no longer wanted him.
The little dog, now named Milo Buttons, had not been forgotten by accident. He had a family — and they chose to let him go.
That is the heartbreaking part. Milo was not just another stray wandering the streets. Somewhere, he had belonged to someone. He had known a home. And then, in one painful moment, everything changed.

Milo does not understand that his life has been turned upside down. He does not know why no one came running for him. All he knows is that he is suddenly without the people he once depended on.
Thankfully, a rescue team has stepped in to help him. Now this sweet, lovable little pup needs a foster home where he can feel safe, wanted, and loved again.
Milo is tiny. He is young. And he deserves so much more than being unwanted.
Please share his story so this little boy can find the home he was always meant to have.
